I used to love this skill, used to use it with ignite arrows way back when my main was a ranger. Anyways,
I was capping this for my skill hunter title, and it brought back old memories, which made me want to use Quick shot again. So I threw together something that looked like it'd work.

I took this into ra, was hitting 50s-60s and upwards every second, it was working really well. I also took out lightning reflexes for savage shot just to play, seeing how I'm always attacking with a skill.

The downside that I found to this build is all the micro management needed, or, really, all you need is to use read the wind ever 24 seconds or so. Which is a real pain when pressuring.

So my question, how should I make this build better? Scrap it? Use something completely different?

Ignite arrows really doesn't do well, almost any prep is better than it.
That build isn't so bad for RA though, but you might want to look into the recently buffed Sundering shot and its duplicate.

But, yeah I was looking at that. It just doesn't feel like as much of a power cannon that quick shot does.

Just over and over... they can't dodge attacks or anything.
Went through another round, I still like it, for now.

I'm going to put this on pvxwiki, looking at some of their current 'great' builds, I think I'd at least get a 'good' rating. It works really well, just there's no self healing.

why not kindle and conjure flame?
and hate using spirits in arena's

i used a similar build all through factions with my ranger, back before i really had any elites, and i hated barrage..

kindle arrows
dual shot
quick shot
savage
d shot
favorable or res
troll
whirling

basically keep up kindle, then dual-qs-savage-regular attack-qs-dshot repeat

it cut all the cast, or attacking intervals into tiny bits, making it seem like i was attacking with about 7 arrows, in 3 seconds. it was nice damage, but once i took a break from him and came back, i rarely used any other prep other than apply...

Where's Savage Shot?

Quick Shot is a pretty obsolete elite now due to the recent buffs making the likes of Penetrating Shot/Sundering Shot fire just as quickly (although the arrow wont travel as fast, use a Recurve Bow).

I was using savage shot, it's in the original post.

And I know that, I tried it, it just didn't seem to be as fun or effective.
When I did sundering/pene I used

And, I didn't like it for a few reasons

1. Slow fire power
2. 40 was where the attacks topped off
3. My energy was constantly down
4. Longer Recharge, was auto attacking in between

On the contrary, Quick Shot is the perfect comapnion for the two, to fill up their recharge gap and maintain a steady 1 second beat.
